Greetings:
Register early to help us plan space, food etc... THIS EVENT WILL BE UPDATED OVER THE WEEK!
Future Media Concepts (FMC) and DC Final Cut Pro Users Group team up to bring you the inside track to using Apple's FCP application within the Apple Final Cut Studio suite of products.

Our special guest for October is Abba Shapiro
For up to date, general meeting information, go to the DCFCPUG main site and click MEETINGS and check for the latest updates/details to our 5 October meeting in Washington, DC!

DCFCPUG Membership is FREE to join, and the prize raffle will be for registered members only! You must attend in person to be eligible to win!
We have been working to establishing a viable process and program to engage our online readership while providing an environment that we can learn, share and explore Apple Pro applications, Adobe and Avid products among other tools used in the industry.
While Apple Pro apps are a focus for the group, we do engage with the best of breed industry apps, tricks of the trade and services to improve our workflow in this creative and competitive marketplace. Think Apple, Adobe, Avid, etc....
Want to hear about job/freelance opportunities? Come to our meetings to hear the latest news... just this week, three members submitted resumes/reels to CBS Evening News per internal request! Want to work the next blockbuster movie coming to DC....network with your peers who have industry contacts and have recently worked in the production of a Hollywood Feature to increase your chances of gaining that experience. The buzz is around town about Transformers 3... ;-)
Invite your friends, associates, colleagues and anyone who is interested in keeping this activity vibrant, and productive. We want you to take a more active role in 2010!
We are doing our part to provide a VA/MD/DC based FCP group but I do ask that you set aside one day each month to attend our meetings and share your knowledge with us at our meetings and online. Go to the main site and view upcoming DCFCPUG meetings and look out for the registration posts online or in your email (for registered users)... Once a registered member, don't forget to LOGIN and make sure your profile is current with a valid email address, etc. Some content on the site is visible only to registered users, so don't miss out!
We have a growing sponsorship program that supports our DCFCP Winner's Circle raffle each month. We raffled off thousands of dollars worth of prizes last year, and continue the trend this year! You can be a winner too, just buy raffle tickets, attend and take a chance at winning & participating in the fun, food, networking opportunities and friendship!
To keep money handling to a minimum, all registrations and raffles tickets are conducted ONLINE. Cash on site will be a management decision to accept. Exact fees are expected if paying in cash. Plan ahead, pay online and enjoy the fun. ;-)
Check out our sponsors on the main site and give them as try as they are reaching out to our creative community to provide great tools to complement and enhance our production value to our customers. They support us, so the least we can do is support them by attending the meetings and contributing to our community knowledge.
Come on out and support YOUR PUG. We'll see you there! REGISTER EARLY as seating is LIMITED and will go FAST, especially for THIS meeting!
